James Apicella - Solar Sales Executive and Toys for Tots Volunteer

A Kinston, New Hampshire, resident, James Apicella provides homeowners across New England with tools for switching to renewable energy. As Sunrun residential solar consultant, James Apicella identifies leads and delivers presentations on the long-term cost savings of solar energy. Undertaking in-home sales presentations, he has consistently exceeded sales goals while recruiting a team of sales representatives.

For more than two decades, Mr. Apicella has volunteered with the Plaistow Area Commerce Exchange (PACE) Toys for Tots. He became involved with the organization in 1999 by helping collect toys for children. Today, he is a regional toy drive leader for the organization.

Mr. Apicella’s time in the United States military was concurrent with his studies at Southern Vermont College as a criminal justice major. Called to active deployment from the Reserves during Operation Enduring Freedom, he was based in the Philippines and Japan. Mr. Apicella delivered rocket and anti-personnel system firepower that helped carry out critical ground operations.
